HELLBENDERS wraps!

At dawn on April 10th – our 3D feature film HELLBENDERS wrapped principal photography. This is the first feature film shot on RED’s EPIC cameras and Element Techinca’s ATOM rig to complete production in a fast and furious four week shoot – IATSE, TEAMSTER, DGA, WGA & SAG. The cast and crew really nailed it – Special Make-up FX from Brian Spears and Production Design from Russell Barnes were way above and beyond the budget and our expectations. We were blessed to have Mark Santora on the team as the Line Producer – making all of us producers look good.

Stake Land is featured in the April issue of EMPIRE Magazine! The nice two-page article refers lead actor Nick Damici as the next Charles Bronson.
Produced in association with OFFHOLLYWOOD PICTURES Jim Mickel’s post-apocolyptic vampire film won the people’s choice prize in the Midnight Madness program at The Toronto International Film Festival.
Stake Land opens in a Limited Theatrical and VOD April 22.

Our EPIC cameras had to get a little HIP HOP action in before starting our HELLBENDERS feature film.
Directed by Jason Cacioppo of Subvoyant and Executive Produced by Spencer Adler and Pacino Bing for Elevator Pitch, the song “Hot In This Bitch” features Gilbere Forte’, Jim Jones and Pusha T wrapped in style at the super swanky greenhousenyc.
Jason directed and photographed the music video with two Epic camera rollin’ non-stop. Yoshi Tang rocked the steadicam.

We were just way too busy to get out to Park City this year for Sundance – but we were proud to be involved with several projects at the fest this year – and the success of these projects – all shot on RED.

Yes … we did it. We shot the Yule Log in 3D. Pat C even got his dad to wrangle firewood. One shot … and we make not only The Hollywood Reporter but also The New York Times.

Lionsgate posted the trailer for Rabbit Hole - the film opens December 17th in select theaters. There’s some good Oscar buzz for the outstanding performances. Shot in 4K on RED ONE (original M sensor).
